From this park on the banks of the Mississippi River view the distinct line between the blue waters of the St Croix National Scenic Riverway as it flows into the muddy waters of the Mississippi River. Great place to watch pleasure boats & barges. Historic plaques. Park benches & picnic tables in park. Bird watching. Railroad watching. Great for photography.
Directions: From north, at stoplight WI 35/US Highway 10, travel thru downtown to Orange St. Turn right. Go 1 block, take curve to left, go 1 block, cross BN/Santa Fe Rairoad tracks. Continue straight to park (1/2 block). 2 hour parking at park. From downriver, follow WI Hwy 35 to Orange St, turn left, go 1 block, curve to left, go 1 block, cross BN/Santa Fe railroad tracks. Park is 1/2 block ahead. 2 hr parking at park.

Directions: From I-90, take Exit #3 (La Crosse, Rose Street). At stoplight, turn right onto Rose Street. Follow Rose Street into downtown La Crosse (road turns in Copeland Ave). At stoplight on corner of La Crosse & Copeland, follow road to the right. Road now reads 3rd Street (one way). Follow 3rd Street to State Street. Turn right. Road goes into Riverside Park where boat is docked.
