The stories of Wisconsin’s Great River Road are as big as the mighty Mississippi itself. Now’s your chance to continue the rich history of the Great River Road by sharing your story in the “Wisconsin Great River Road Trip Round Up” contest.

Which of the 33 rivertowns did you visit? Did you hike at a State Park, fish on a famous fishing float, or stop at certain historical markers? Who did you go with, what did you eat, where did you stay? Tell us your story.

Authors of the three (3) best stories will win a Great River Road Travel Package including overnight accommodations, gift certificates to restaurants and attractions, and souvenirs from Wisconsin Great River Road communities such as Prairie du Chien, Onalaska and Genoa.

Wisconsin Great River Road Trip Round Up Terms & Conditions

1. The Wisconsin Great River Road Trip Round Up will begin June 20, 2007 12:01 AM CST and end Friday, November 30, 2007 11:59 PM CST.
2. Participants may only enter the Wisconsin Great River Road Trip Round Up once.
3. All entries become property of the Wisconsin Great River Road Promotions Committee.
4. By submitting an entry, participants are giving permission for the Wisconsin Great River Road Promotions Committee to use their submitted words and photos for future promotional initiatives, including, but not limited to, website copy, newsletters, Podcasts, visitor/travel guides, and advertisements.
5. Entries may be submitted via the online form or the mail no later than November 30, 2007. Entries should be mailed to:

6. Each entry may be up to 500 words in length.
